Meet Dr. Jonathan B. Smith, DC, CSCP
“Balance creates Possibility.”
Health challenges may bring learning, but more often than not, suffering -especially long suffering- weakens the spirit and hinders personal growth. The mission of Balance Chiropractic is to open the path to healing not only for pain relief, but to release the potential of the whole person. Balance creates Possibility.

Restoring Balance, inspired by Tradition.
Dr. Jonathan Smith’s journey began with a legacy of service and touch, inspired by his grandfather’s intuitive skill as a blind physical therapist. This foundation led to his career in chiropractic when an Aikido injury left Dr. Smith searching for answers that traditional medicine couldn’t provide. He recovered through chiropractic.
Just 3 years into his career, the pattern repeated. Dr. Smith sustained multiple concussions through sports and auto accidents. For over 10 years he suffered from brain fog, fatigue, headaches and jaw issues. Again, traditional medicine offered little. Through his own study and training he found his own path to recovery using cranial therapy, SOT adjusting and functional medicine.
Now, his lifelong value of service drives him to share his knowledge and skill by providing the same relief he found for himself to others.
The Only Specialist of His Kind in the Bay Area.

SOT & Craniopathy
As the only Certified SOT Cranial Practitioner in the Bay Area, Dr. Smith works with the structural relationships between the skull, spine, and nervous system that most practitioners never address. This will provide you deep structural and neurological relief and is the foundation of concussion, headache, and TMJ treatment at Balance Chiropractic.

Concussion Recovery
Dr. Smith literally wrote the book on concussion recovery. Specialized cranial and chiropractic techniques available in person at Balance Chiropractic. For recovery guidance and support through lifestyle and nutrition, visit True Brain Concussion Center.

Nerve Mobilization
Nerves don’t just get pinched at the spine. This rare technique frees nerve entanglement in facia and muscles as they travel down the arm or leg, often the missing piece to relieving pain, numbness and tingling.
